Hello!

My name is Claire McCauley, and I am absolutely thrilled to be joining the Sunflower Family full-time! I’ve had the joy of teaching Monday morning clay classes here at Sunflower since 2019. During that time, I’ve come to deeply appreciate the colorful spirit of this school and the wonderful community that makes it so incredibly special. Now, I’m excited to step into a full-time role and spend even more meaningful time with the students. My background is in the arts, and I’m passionate about weaving creativity, storytelling, and exploration into our everyday learning. I also have a deep love for marine biology and travel, interests that I hope to use to inspire curiosity in the classroom.I’m here not only to teach but to support each student on their journey to becoming thoughtful, confident, and compassionate individuals. I look forward to getting to know your families and partnering with you this year, and many more to come.
